Artist Bio
Diane Davis is a New York City based artist. Her work is in the permanent collections of The Arts and Artifacts Department of the Schomburg Center For Research in Black Culture, The Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, MoCADA, and the Eileen S. Kaminsky Family Foundation (ESKFF).
Diane’s publications include The Huffington Post, Essentials of Sociology: A Down to Earth Approach by James M. Henslin, Allyn & Bacon publishers, Bronx Uptown Express Newspaper, and a mention in the New York Times.
Her work has been exhibited at ESKFF at Mana Contemporary, The Yard, BronxArtSpace, Selena Gallery, Long Island University, The Elizabeth Foundation for The Arts, and the Conde Nast Times Square Lobby Gallery. Davis is a recipient of multiple Urban Glass scholarships, including the Bead Project Scholarship, The Chelicca Bead Project Alumnae Fund, and their General Scholarship, as well as the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop Scholarship, where for several years she sat on the Board of Governors. She has been awarded residencies by ESKFF, Chashama and the Ora Lerman Charitable Trust.
